Imperial Divan 2008 - 2009
The Imperial Divan is the international governing body of the Shriners of North America. It consists of 13 officers plus an Imperial Chaplain. This governing body works as a corporate board of directors. The highest position attainable in the Shriners fraternity is that of Imperial Potentate, or chief executive officer, who is elected for one year. He visits many of the Shriners Temples (chapters) and hospitals, and he generally supervises both fraternal and hospital policy.
