The Board of Trustees for Shriners Hospitals for Children is responsible for the overall operation of the Shriners Hospitals network. The board is comprised of the current officers of Shriners Hospitals, who serve by virtue of their office, as well as those elected by the members of Shriners Hospitals' corporation. All members of the Board of Trustees serves on a volunteer basis. The Chairman of the Board is elected each year at the annual meeting of the hospital corporation.
