Important Information Regarding H1N1 Illnesses and Hospital Appointments

If you, your child, or a member of your immediate family is experiencing flu-like symptoms, it is very important for you to remain at home.

Please call the appropriate department to cancel and reschedule your appointment:

For outpatient appointments call the outpatient scheduling department at (612) 596-6100 or (800) 293-2832.
For inpatient admissions or surgery appointments call the pre-admission coordinator at (612) 596-6131.

Both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Minnesota Department of Health recommend that anyone with flu-like symptoms stay at home for 7 days from the start of symptoms or until 24 hours after the symptoms subside, whichever is longer.
