On-Site Accommodations

Parents are encouraged to stay with their child during hospitalization. The hospital provides for one parent to remain at their child's bedside at all times. A convertible chair bed, bed linen, and shower facilities are available for the parent staying.

Bus Service

The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) buses run through Springfield daily (except Sundays). A bus stop is located in front of the hospital. You can take a bus to the downtown area every 20 minutes. Transfers to other buses are available to enable you to travel throughout the city. Local Transportation

Shriners Hospital volunteers are available to transport families from local residences, airports, train stations and bus terminals, to and from Shriners Hospital, if needed. Out of Area Transportation

Van transportation from your area of residence may be available under certain circumstances by contacting the Shrine Center in your region.
