Housing and Transportation

We realize that the presence of family during a child's stay at the hospital is comforting for the child and parents. We encourage one parent/guardian to stay at the bedside. All in-patient rooms are equipped with a bedside sleeping area for a parent.

On Site:

The family center is a six room, hotel-like facility located on-site. The facility features private rooms that can sleep up to six, with private bathrooms. Each floor shares a common activity, laundry and kitchenette area. Families are lodged in these rooms on a first come-first serve reserved basis. The family center also features two RV hook ups. Lodging:

Lodging is the responsibility of the patient family. Some special room rates and lodging assistance may be available through your local Shrine Center. If you need additional options or financial assistance with housing, please call your Shriners or the care coordination office at (509) 455-7844. Download a list of accommodation options.

Transportation

Transportation to and from the hospital is the responsibility of the family. Transportation assistance to and from the Shriners Hospital in Spokane may be available through local Shriners fraternity members.
