Garry Kim Green, MBA, MHA, CHE, was named Administrator of the Shreveport Shriners Hospital in 2002. A native of West Frankfort, Illinois, Green came to the Shreveport Hospital from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where he had served as senior assistant hospital administrator since 1987.

Green earned both a BS in medical record administration and an MBA from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. He went on to complete an MHA program at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO in 1985. He is a Certified Healthcare Executive in the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Registered Health Information Administrator in the American Health Information Management Association.

Green served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Louisiana Hospital Association (LHA) for five years and is a past president of the LHA's Northwest District. He is a published author and is involved in numerous community programs in the Shreveport-Bossier City area.
