Shriners Hospitals for Children in the U.S. are accredited by The Joint Commission.
The Joint Commission standards deal with hospital quality, safety of care, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. Shriners Hospitals is committed to meeting these standards in all of these areas. Shriners Hospitals has an open door policy. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about care received, please contact local hospital management at (318) 222-5704 and request to speak with one of the following individuals:

- Lauren Stratton, Performance Improvement Director
If the issue is not resolved by the hospital, you are always free to contact The Joint Commission directly to raise your concerns. In addition, the Shreveport Shriners Hospital will have an unannounced survey by The Joint Commission every three years to assess their compliance with the standards.
