On-Site

We realize that the presence of family during a child's stay at the hospital is comforting for the parents and child. We encourage one parent/guardian to stay at the bedside. All inpatient rooms are equipped with a bedside sleeping area for a parent. We also have a limited number of on-site parent rooms available on a first come first serve basis. Additionally, there are two RV spaces on-site for self-contained vehicles.

There are a variety of accommodation options within an 8-mile radius of the hospital. Some of these facilities offer discounts for Shriners patients. You must present your clinic appointment card, admission letter or new patient appointment letter to qualify for any special rates.

Transportation

Transportation to and from the hospital is often provided by Shriners Hospital volunteers. These caring individuals provide rides to and from the airport. Arrangements for assistance can be made prior to your visit through the Hospital's Housing Coordinator.

Bus Service

The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) buses run through Salt Lake City daily (except Sundays). A bus stop is located in front of the hospital. You can take a bus #11 to the downtown area every 30 minutes.
