Visiting Hours
Daily visiting hours for those other than the parents or guardian are from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. These hours are extended only under special conditions. For patients attending school, visits should occur after 3 p.m. All visitors must check in at the nurses station.
Parent/Guardian Visitors
One adult parent or guardian may stay overnight. On the day of surgery, parents and close relatives may arrive as early as 6:30 a.m. to be with a child prior to surgery.
For safety reasons, all patients must be supervised in the hospital at all times. If you are leaving your child, please notify hospital staff that you are relinquishing supervision to them. Patients may not leave the hospital without an authorized pass.
Throughout a visit, a parent or a responsible adult visitor must supervise sibling/children visitors. All visitors should be healthy. Visitors who are coughing should ask for a mask or refrain from visiting.
Parking
All family members and other visitors should park in the free parking structure underneath the Shriners Hospital. Please do not park in the OHSU lots – you will be charged to park there. Shriners Hospital does not validate parking.
Wheelchair vehicle spaces are provided on all levels of the parking structure. Oversize vehicles may park on P4 (top deck of our parking structure). This parking area has a separate entrance from the street level at the north end of the building. To access the P4 area, proceed past the main parking entrance, turn right at the Shriners statue, continue North past the flagpoles. The P4 parking area is the first lot on the right hand side. To access the parking structure or P4, push the call button at the parking gates. Unfortunately, we do not have adequate space to accommodate RVs.
