Dean R. Shacklett, Chairman of the Board of Governors has served on the hospital Board of Governors for 8 years. He has been a Shriner for more than 30 years and a Mason for more than 31 years.

He presently serves as the Chief Operating Officer on the Board of Directors with the National Label Company in Lafayette Hill, PA. Founded in 1918, the National Label Company is one of the oldest family-owned and operated printing companies in the country today with manufacturing plants in Lafayette Hill, Pa., and Humacao, Puerto Rico.

The chairman received his BA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. He has also studied at the Heidelberg School of Printing in Heidelberg, Germany. In addition, he belongs to LuLu Shrine Center and the Frankford Masonic Lodge No. 292. He is also a member of the Board of Directors, Puerto Rico USA Foundation. Mr. Shacklett is also the recipient of the Valued Partner Award from Cheesebrough-Pond's USA, a division Unilever.
