Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are important because they provide many extra services that supplement the functions of the professional staff. Volunteers add to the quality of health care by helping patients, staff and visitors.

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to commit at least three months or 60 hours of service. Most opportunities are limited to weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Arrangements regarding schedules are discussed with the appropriate department. Background checks and drug/alcohol screenings are completed on all volunteers prior to beginning service.
