Harold Richardson is New Executive Director of East-West Shrine Game

TAMPA, Fla. – Harold Richardson was named executive director of the East-West Shrine Game benefiting Shriners Hospitals for Children®. In this position, he will oversee all aspects of the game including acquiring sponsors, inviting players, coordinating personnel and managing the Hall of Fame.
Richardson received a degree in finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. During his time there, he played for the baseball team and the 1966 Mustang football team, which won the Southwest Conference title.
Richardson has an extensive background in college and professional football. From 1998-2002, he served as general manager of the Atlanta Falcons. The team made their only Super Bowl appearance under his leadership. He served 14 years as a coach and administrator for the New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos, as well as 12 years as a football coach at Colorado State University, North Texas State University, Texas Christian University, Oklahoma State University and Southern Methodist University.

The East-West Shrine Game is the longest-running college all-star football game in the country and features some of the highest-rated players in the projected NFL draft ranking.
