Patient and Family Information
We realize that you and your child may be far from home during your
stay with us. Our caring staff will provide you with an environment
where you and your child will feel at home and will be an active
participant in your medical care.
We believe that the best care occurs when patients, families and
health care providers work together. Our goal is to provide the best
care for your child in the most supportive atmosphere for your whole
family.
Shriners Hospitals for Children supports a family-centered care
coordination approach. This ensures that all of our patients and their
families receive care coordination services appropriate to their needs.
Each patient and their family will have an assigned care coordinator
who will help access appropriate services for the patient and family
prior to admission, throughout the hospitalization experience, and
after discharge.
