Joint Commission Right of Notification of Safety and Quality Concern
Shriners Hospitals for Children® in the U.S. are accredited by The Joint Commission whose standards deal with hospital quality, safety-of-care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.
Shriners Hospitals for Children® is committed to meeting The Joint Commission standards in all these areas. Shriners Hospitals for Children® has an open door policy. If you have any questions, comments or concerns about care received at Shriners Hospitals for Children® in Lexington, please contact hospital management at (859) 268-5630.
If the issue is not resolved by the hospital, you are always free to contact The Joint Commission directly to raise your concerns. In addition, the Lexington Shriners Hospitals for Children® will have unannounced surveys by The Joint Commission approximately every three years to assess their compliance to the standards.
