Joint Commission Right of Notification of Safety and Quality Concern

Shriners Hospitals for Children (SHC) in the U.S. are accredited by The Joint Commission whose standards deal with hospital quality, safety-of-care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. 

SHC is committed to meeting The Joint Commission standards in all these areas. SHC has an open door policy. If you have any questions, comments or concerns about care received at SHC-Lexington, please contact hospital management at (859) 268-5630.

If the issue is not resolved by the hospital, you are always free to contact The Joint Commission directly to raise your concerns. In addition, the Lexington Shriners Hospitals for Children will have unannounced surveys by The Joint Commission approximately every three years to assess their compliance to the standards.
