Outpatient Clinic
The Outpatient Clinic at the Erie Shriners Hospital is where most of our patients are examined. Our physicians, physician assistant, nurses and other members of the clinic staff provide family-centered care in a friendly, yet professional, environment. On average, we have more than 10,000 patient visits a year in our clinic.
Our clinic functions much like any doctor’s office, providing parents and patients with ample opportunities to share concerns, ask questions and discuss treatment options. Some of our specialty care clinics focus on a particular condition, such as cerebral palsy and myelodysplasia. In these clinics, the patients may be seen by a team of specialists including physicians, nurses, care coordinators, therapists and orthotists. The clinic staff is always available to assist patients and their families with health care issues. To make an appointment, call: (814) 875-8700 or (800) 873-KIDS, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
In addition to the Outpatient Clinic, the Erie Hospital also conducts periodic Outreach Clinics in locations throughout our service area.
After a patient has had his/her first clinic visit, he/she may be given a return or follow-up appointment. Please keep your appointment card and make every effort to keep that appointment date. If you do have to change the appointment, please call us as soon as possible. Because we see so many patients in the Outpatient Clinic, it can take weeks or months to get your child a new appointment date.
