Shriners Hospital Receives Magnet RecognitionJanuary 15, 2008 (Cincinnati) Shriners Hospitals for Children – Cincinnati has been awarded Magnet™ Recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The Cincinnati hospital is the first within the Shriners Hospitals for Children health care system — and the only pediatric hospital in the greater Cincinnati area — to receive this honor. Recognizing quality patient care, nursing excellence and innovations in professional nursing practice, the Magnet™ Recognition Program provides consumers with the ultimate benchmark to measure the quality of care that they can expect to receive.
