It is a privilige for me to work at this very special hospital for kids. Every child deserves the best in every aspect of his or her life, and Shriners Hospital commits itself to this tenet. I work closely with the kids who are born with congenital anomalies. Kids with myelomeningocele are among those, and we use a team approach, bringing together different specialties like neurosurgery, urology, wound care, orthotics, and orthopedics. Not only we do take care of their acute needs, but also to ease their transition to adult life. I not only welcome our kids and their families to this very special hospital, but also promise that we will do everything in our power to achieve the best for our kids.
